my 20 year old, asked my 17 year old to trade in his psp and games, each of them put in 225.00 dollars the problem is that the 20 year old takes it to his girlfriends house to play then when my 17 year old wants to take it to his girl's house my 20 year old has a problem w/ that, not long ago a big argument became very ugly between me and the 17 year old over it, am in the middle of it they don't complain to each other they complain to me, am tired of all the arguments. what is the best thing to do?

Should I call this boy if he asked me to call him after Christmas to go see a movie. Then if he missed my Birthday party right after Christmas. Even though I called him the night before with details. Im am certain that a week ago when my son's school took him out for recess he got sick. The next day he had a fever a cough and sneezing. He got over that in a couple of days. However he has a really bad cough now. Over the weekend I put up a new bed for him and his family seems to think thats why he has suck a bad cough now. The thing is the bed is a little higher then a normal bunk bed (mabey) 5 1/2 feet high.
I think however that well it is cough and cold season so a bad cough is bound to come around sooner or later.
In addition to that instead of bed rest they think its better to let him play and do what he wants around the house.
I thought bed rest was aways the answer to being sick. Not what the child think is best. I cant really say anything cause Im only the step dad. I love my son and This really irritates me. I want to say something but its not in my place.
Im I wrong? what should I do? What is going on here?
