Just curious. It happened in a movie and I was wondering if it happens in real life.

My Aunt did that with her cousin and said she would NEVER do it again just because 2 brides is too much. You want it to be you and your husbands special day... you don't want another couple, it just adds too much stress and its twice of almost everything

Nope, I don't think it's common at all. However, I read in a World Guinness (Records) Book that on August 25, 1995, 35,000 couples were married simultaneously, and 325,000 more took part via satellite link.

I'm pretty sure that's going to happen to me. My fiance's friends want to get married on the same day in the same place. It's ok with me, as long as the ceremonies are one at a time and not like "ok, you four, do you? OK, you're all married". I want a little bit of my own show...
