I have a lot of songs on itunes and have a couple hundred pictures...im usually running the internet, itunes and photoshop...so would this laptop be fast and reliable for me?

I have often wondered, when driving, where do the signposts give mileage to? For example, I'm driving and a signpost says: Belfast 20 miles. Is that 20 miles to the city centre or to the outskirts or to a designated location? Anybody have any ideas?

Today has been "Why do these pesky atheists come to R&S?" day by the looks of things, but personally I've been missing the daily Pascal's Wager question. So I've been working up to my own (these are all Y!A links below):

If you think it's taking a chance NOT to believe, because if you're wrong the consequences are terrible, whereas if you believe and you're wrong, you're just obliviated - shouldn't the greatest risk be in getting it wrong, and worshipping the wrong god? Wouldn't the real god punish them more than those of us who don't believe in any god at all?

What I'm asking is - doesn't Pascal's Wager lead logically to non-belief? If you REALLY don't want to take any chances with the afterlife - shouldn't you be an atheist?

He posted a question in the Gay/Lesbian/etc section about his fantasies. I was kind enough to suggest that they appear to indicate an underlying desire to met black men. I told him to embrace his sexuality and be proud of it.

Then he goes and posts nasty comments all over my questions.

I can only assume that I hit the nail on the head and that he has repressed desire for black men.

Should I pursue this redneck with a vengence - or wait for his humble apology?

I was just busy over the holidays and missed it. I paid it on my computer after I got off work last nite, but I am so embarrassed because they called me at work and wanted the payment then and their like I was some kind of a criminal.

Been with my gf for 2.5 years dated for 18 months. She gave me an ultimatum and I said we would be bf gf. I was very unsure at the time. I dont think I love her because I dont miss her much when I dont see her. I used to be pretty atrracted to her but am not much anymore. All we ever really talk about is work, and am starting to realize we have less and less in common when it comes to fun and friends. The 2.5 years went by very quick. I moved out of my parents house when we first met and about a year ago I got rid of roomates and got my own place. This was a very rough time. now I am more relaxed and secure. She is a great person, she always answers the phone and isnt shady a bit. She is always there when I need her and never makes up any ridiculous stories about where she is, was, etc. I am now 24 and want to go out and date before i get any older. If I loved her I dont think I would want to. It has been such a long time and I dont know what to do. I feel bad breaking up with her.

this was a gift and brand new but it would work for one picture and then stop working- took it in and it would take a few pictures, then it would act up again and not work- finally wolf camera shop said that it was not worth having it repaired since the sensor (which must have been going bad right from the beginning) would cost as much as the camera. Is that true? I never did know where it was purchased since it was a gift but I have all the original boxes and components that came with the camera.
