He was sentenced to hang by the neck until dead, so I guess he will hang by the neck until dead. No liberals or ACLU to bail him out of this one!

He should be in jail for the rest of his life. The problem with killing him and others is that it justifies killing as a punishment. One of his crimes was killing a bunch of Iraqui people in a village where there had been an attempt to assasinate him.
Once he is hanged, he will be a martyr to those misguided souls who believe in him. As such, he will be a symbol behind which they can rally and cause problems for others.

He's in Iraq. No 8th Amendment that I'm aware of. Him and his sons were creative in torturing his victims. We might as well let the Iraqis be creative in dealing with him. Pulling out nails, electric shocks to the genitals, and letting insects and animals gnaw on him would be a good start.

I think he should pay with his life that is for damn sure. The man is evil. He'll never change. He's tortured and killed so many people, and ruined many lives. I think some long painful torture before his death would certainly be in order here. I agree with one of the previous answers on this one. (Linkin)

He should not be executed, he should receive life in prison, why make it a quick and easy way out for him? For true justice he should be tried at the Hague, not by judges who are predisposed to his guilt.

There is an old song that could aptly express my feelings about Saddam:

"Dang me, dang me, take a rope and hang me,
Hang me from the highest treeee,
Baby don't you cry for me......"

The verdict is death by hanging. Why deny the Iraqis a chance for justice?

Maybe it's just me, but I think rotting in jail is a much harder way to go than death.

HANG HIM HIGH N LET HIM SWING!
OR THE BEST PUNISHMENT WOULD BE.........
LASH HIM UNTIL HE HAS OPEN SORES, SMEAR HONEY ALL OVER HIM, DUMP IN A FEW THOUSAND FIRE ANTS FOR GOOD MEASURE. THEN TIE HIM TO A STUMP IN A LOUISIANA SWAMP, LET THE GATORS DO THE REST.

That is up to whatever God he believes in. But.
I don't think his physical fate is up to Bush to decide.
