Try using the Dr. Brown bottles. Use the stage one nipples. My son also had this problem. My doctor told me that they do have a special formula for baby's that have acid reflux that you can get by percription. Make sure your baby sits up for at least 30 minutes after eating.

They make a formula that's already thickened. I think it's by Enfimal. Also might want to try the tucker wedge / sling for night time sleeping. Check out this website for more information. My 3 month old also has reflux, just going on zantac and keeping him upright for 20 minutes after he eats helped alot. Good Luck.

My best advice... Isomil! My baby had gas and constipation... Lactose Free formula was they way we had to go. Just beware. Switching to a Soy Based Formula will help with the Acid Reflux, but might cause constipation. For that, a little bit of Dark Karo Syrup and you're good to go.

Soy will REALLY help. Also, try getting him to sleep on an incline. Sometimes sleeping flat will make it worse.

Do you mix the rice cereal with formula/breast milk or cows milk? You don't give cows milk until he's a year old.

My son had the same problem. Let him sleep on a foam wedge, it reduces the reflux and lets him sleep better. The more sleep he gets the better his reflux will be during the day. I also switched to soy formula and that digested much easier. But remember to check with your doctor beforehand.

there is Enfamil AR for babies with A.R.
Mylanta always calms the burn quick.. ask your Dr. about the dosage needed.
Always sleep your baby Up instead of on his/her back.. like in a car seat or swing.
There are other medicines you can give (perscription) if you ask dr. you should have your baby on some kind of prescription medicine anyways if not.
