They seem to react to every newspaper story with another gimmicky policy, like these 'respect zones'.

Also, virtually every law or public service in the last 7 years is badly written and rushed with loads of unintended side-effects. For example, a centralised medical database would be dead easy for anyone to get access to, to get people's medical status to refuse them insurance or employment, etc.

They seem to bypass the proper channels. There are commitees and the civil service to draught laws properly, but they bypass it or railroad it through in 5 minutes.

The sooner Labour have gone down that road the better it will be for this country. Tony Blair has been nothing but a liar from day one ever since he put his foot through Number 10 Downing Street along with his cronies.

You know when you are younger and have a toy doll and you try and give it a hair cut but it looks silly, so you cut it some more to try and make it better, but it looks worse, so you keep cutting, and cutting, and you know you should stop, but you still keep going and it looks worse and worse and things start to look really bad, and before you know it the doll is bald? Well I think we ought to take Tony Blair's scissors away now!
