She chose another crazy x-mas gift. She got me something like a golf game you play on the tv, with a little putter. I don't know what possesed her to get that. I don't even like golf. And I don't care for the game very much, it just something I'm not into. She ordered it out of one of those maganizes. It was like 75 dollars. So should I tell her to send it back. Beacause I really don't see myself playing with this.

My closing date is Dec. 28th. Will I receive any tax benefits when I file this year? If I have to wait until next year, what benefits will I receive then, besides the interest being tax deductible?

Ok i've been cleaning the house for yrs, I'm a male, idk if that makes a difference, for the past four yrs I've been increasingly hesitant to clean up the others mess's, do laundry etc etc. I am a clean freak but i'm so f***ing tired of cleaning the same mess's, doing the same laundry over and over. I used to drink beer just to get started cleaning, its so hard to start when there never is a f***Ing end. NEways what are some suggestions, to motivate me clean this damn hellhole, right now i'd rather burn it to the f***ing ground than to look at it. it's not totally nasty, but it looks like it to a clean freak..I seen on tv where women would go buy meth to stay on top of chores. I dunno i just need some suggestions before I go commit arson.. serious answers plz..It's hard to clean with my son or wife here bcoz its a they don't care so why should I kinda thing..

The son sees his Mom and asks, "What were you and Dad doing?"

The mother replies, "Well, you know your dad has a big tummy and sometimes I have to get on top of it and help flatten it."

Islamic history tells that prophet Muhammed tried to attack the Roman Empire in what was called Tabouk convoy. He said that the reason was that they were trying to invade Muslims.

When prophet Muhammed arrived near the Romans and found out their strength, he returned back and told his companions that the Romans CHANGED THEIR MINDS and they no more trying to invade Muslims!

This incident raised few questions that I am trying to find some answers for them:

1- How did prophet Muhammed know that the Romans were preparing to invade Muslims (the well-documented Roman history does not tell anything about any preparation for such invasion)?

2- If the Romans were really trying to invade Muslims, why did they change their minds?

3- If the Romans were not preparing to invade Muslims, does not that mean that propeht Muhammad's war was purely OFFENSIVE?

My friend said she pumped gas on Xmas day (using her debit card) even though the gas station was closed for the day.

Is this possible? I thought the pumps were shut down when the station is closed.

I'm just a teenager and I want to change my hairstyle! My mom didn't have a problem with that. Then I said I wanted some highlights with it. I know places like Phoenix, El Paso, and Las Vegas get a number of days where the temperature rises over 105, but the humidity is so low the heat index doesn't match the air temperature. I know I'm not legally required to do this but I would like to allow them to move out early. If they agree to pay one months rent in liquidated damages (which is an estimate of what it will cost me to get the house re-rented while it's vacant due to them breaching the contract).

The original lease did not have a liquidated damages clause in it (there was no way for them to end the lease early), so I'd like to add this. Does anyone know where I can find an example of what this contract should look like? What happens if they fail to move out by the date specified? I

Basically it should say:
1) We're ending the lease on X date
2) Tenant has agreed to pay $X in liquidated damages, which is due at the time of signing the contract to end the lease early.

What am I missing? How do I word this? I am planning to return their security deposit after they move out and I am able to do a final walkthrough of the house. I want to make sure that what I do is legal and fair.

2 days ago, there was a murder case in US. The detective on the case was John Holmes. He worked on the case for hours trying to solve it. All evidence pointed to a suspect named Mark.

So John the detective went to see the suspect and asked him "there was a murder 2 days ago, do you know anything about it?"

Mark said "no, I wasn't in the US 2 days ago"

The detective asked "so where were you 2 days ago".

The suspect said "oh, I was at the north pole!! Oh my, it was cold but what a great trip!, I just got back this morning!"

Detective asked "what did you do there?"

The suspect said "oh not much, just took some pictures! Boy, the penguins were beautiful, they were the cutest things I saw!"

At that instant, the detective said "I know you were responsible for the murder! You are under arrest!"

Question: How did the detective know the suspect was lying??
