She chose another crazy x-mas gift. She got me something like a golf game you play on the tv, with a little putter. I don't know what possesed her to get that. I don't even like golf. And I don't care for the game very much, it just something I'm not into. She ordered it out of one of those maganizes. It was like 75 dollars. So should I tell her to send it back. Beacause I really don't see myself playing with this.

Well, I would tell her nicely that it doesn't interest you. Maybe she can get a refund and you can find something you do like. You'll probably hurt her feelings, but it's the opportunity cost of actually getting something you'll use.

YES, as long as she still has the packing receipt, box, cancelled check or proof of purchase, and the original game packaging, she should be able to get a refund. Have her get the magazine and get the customer service number and call first and see if they give refunds or if you can only exchange it for some of the same value.
Good Luck

re-gift, sell it on ebay or return it yourself, but don't involve your mom. She loves you and honestly thinks that she gave you something that you would like.

She gave it to you, it's yours now. You can do what you want with it. Thank her for it all the same, though.
