Unfortuanetly, the Media is designed to show what people want and to get more people interested so they can get more ratings and money.
Which techinically means, they hide most of the positive things that would satisfy a person enough to click off the TV and show the negative things that would posion an open mind and keep the TV on considering that would keep the person watching it on the edge of their sofa in curiousity.
Personally, I think the world would do better without the Media -- Instead just basic things such as weather, climate, natrual disasters, ect.

NO, I haven't seen anything positive come from the media about the war in Iraq. And to anser the second question, NO, I don't think that soldiers who build roads and schools, amongst other things, are doing something negative.

Yes. No.
Anyone I know who has been in war has difficulty saying much positive about their experience. But I'm guessing that you are alluding to the other activities in Iraq, e.g., rebuilding, etc., and that is positive and has been reported often. I cannot envision the media "having so much glee" in the loss of life any more than the rest of us have.

I have NEVER seen anything positive about the war in
Iraq or Afghanistan from the news media. NO on the

US Armed Forces and other allies will explain what is
going on all over the world as far as military personnel
are concerned.

one of the main problems with this war is We Are Outnumbered!! they are about 15-20 million kurds, shities, insurgents, against what about maybe 300,000.00 people half of them american soldiers and the other half iraqs soldiers so you can see what the problem. is more troops may help somewhat But they are still too many kurds, involved in my opinion this war is never going to be over. it will go on for years, and years i just hope that the bush admin has got some better ideas. Remember this. everytime a american soldier dies it is on President Bush head.

NO!!!!! Absolutely not, I have heard so many things that the soldiers in Iraq are doing to help the children and homeless people there. They even helped a five year old girl from losing her legs in a explosion, for gods sake.
And tons of other things!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What war? That ended on May 2, 2003. Boy are YOU behind the times (http://www.cnn.com/2003/ALLPOLITICS/05/01/sprj.irq.bush.speech/index.html).
Seriously tho'. There's nothing that sells newspapers like sensationalism. And there's nothing sensational about what little good is being done in Iraq. Our troops are heroic but our commanders are cowards. People are dying everyday for this huge mistake. The pentagon has gone so far as to classify the information dealing with the number of attacks inside Iraq. Wtf for? Prolly so that the news can't report on it. Which says to me that things are going so bad that it's worthless to try to report on the good.
Personally tho' my view is in opposition to yours. I think the media is giving Bush and his idiotic bootlicking cronies a bit of a pass on this whole Iraq mess. What with flying back the dead soldiers in the middle of the night, weakening our military by extending it to its breaking point while giving taxpayer money to his cronies, he's gotten off pretty lightly. Worst President Ever. Mark my words, history will tear him a well deserved new one.

There is nothing positive TO say about a misguided and failed policy. The Republicans have done such a good job cheerleading for this war that it would be superfluous for the media to do the same, especially since it was clear it's a disaster.
But by all means, go on telling us about classrooms getting new coats of paint!

Nope, the liberal media doesn't approve of this war, which is why everything on TV is negative.

Unfortunately very little. They don't like to mention the schools, hospitals, and infrastructure we have rebuilt.
