I'm really close with my ex-girlfriends family and her parents recently got divorced. Her younger brother is 15 and has had a troubled life due to his parents. He reminds me a lot of myself when i was his age and I wish i had someone older and reliable to talk to. I dont feel he has someone to go and talk to about girls,sex,puberty, and other teenage issues. How do I let him know he can ask me anything and talk to me without sounding creepy? How do I bring up subjects like this with him without it being ackward?

When the dementor attacked Dudley in HP Book 5, I realized how powerful they are.

This must be proof that Voldemort exists, right? And, of course, Harry Potter must exist, because the books say so.

I'm using Harry Potter books to prove that everything in Harry Potter is true.

Can I do that with all unprovable books of fiction? Does it all mean that "Yeah, God exists" too?

It's the same logic to prove the bible and koran and other cult texts. Just use the text iteself to prove that text is the word of God/Allah/Schmeckle-Man, etc...

I guess there must be a hidden school somewhere in Europe, called Hogwarts -- it's just invisible and we haven't found it yet. Maybe it's right next to where the Ark is resting, huh?

A guy has been stranded on a desert island for more years that he can count. One day he sees a body in a wetsuit emerging towards him from the waves and it soon becomes pretty obvious that it's the most stunningly attractive woman he's ever seen. She walks up and asks "would you like a drink?", unzips a pocket on the left of the wetsuit and pulls out a bottle of whisky for him. "Would you like a smoke?", unzips another pocket on the other side and pulls out a packet of cigarettes. This is happening as we speak.

My mom and sister are arguing about something that really doesn't concern me. I don't want to jump into the argument and try to defend either side, because I know I am going to end up in tears like my sister.

Usually at the end of an argument, both my mom and sister are in tears. My sister can get really crabby if I try to comfort her, she is really independent, so I always just go hug my mom, but I don't know what to do now, because I agree with my sister, but I don't really know what to do at the moment, I hate the sound of them arguing.

This is also kind of frustrating, because the letter I have been waiting for has finally come. I have been waiting for a month, and I have finally been accepted into this fine arts program, but now, no one seems interested in it.
