I am specifically looking for demographics on the number of programs that have comprehensive family programs that addres issues of domestic violence. The current ones that I have been able to identify deal with women and children, while the program I'm bringing up includes addressing the issue as a family. Thanks in advance for your input.

An English guy sits at a cafe eating breakfast when a french guy chewing chewing gum comes in and sits down next to him. "Do you eat jam?" the french guy asks. The english guy replies with a nod. "We don't," says the french guy, "we only eat fresh fruit for breakfast, then take the peelings and seeds, put them in a jar, recycle them and send them to england as jam" the french guy says.

"Do you eat croissants?" the french guy asks. The english guy nods again. "We don't, we only eat the inside of the bread, then put the crust and crumbs in a jar, recycle them, and send them to england as croissants. The english guy smiles sarcastically, then asks "do you have sex in france?"
"Course we do," replies the french guy.
"what do you do with the condomns after you use them?" the english guy asks.
"We throw them away of course" replies the french guy.
"We dont. we put them in a jar, recycle them, and send them to france as chewing gum" replied the english guy

Im half german and half mexican and alot of people make a big deal out of it, this sounds like a lie, but when i was in minnesota kids made fun of me for being mexican and now in mexico they make fun of me for being white. I never made a big deal out of it until people kept bothering me about it. does anyone have problems like this?

I'm a sophomore this year and I just got my PSAT scores back. Here are my scores:

English- 51 ("Scored higher than 83% of sophomores")
Math- 63 ("Scored higher than 95% of sophomores)
Writing- 54 ("Scored higher than 87% of sophomores)

My total score was a 168.

Now my question is are these scores great, good, okay, or what?
I know they're not bad, but how good exactly are they? I'm looking to go to Vanderbilt in Tennessee, and so I'd like to know if that's plausible given my scores.

And I am going to take it next year obviously, so how much should my scores jump? 5 points, 10 Points???

nearly all the other cards, especially multi pack ones. doggies cats teddies even penguins are so called christmas cards, i can live with the santa's, fir trees and robins even that old worlde look,they have been arond for years, but even they are not part of what christmas is about, but out of hundreds of cards that i looked at I just found few cards that showed a religous represensation of christmas and what it stands for. now my question is , the card industry is making millions of pounds at this time of year. do you agree with me, that we boycott all stupid christmas cards, until they get there act together and stop being politically correct

There are many people who say, never hit a dog. OK....here is my thought.....in the dog world, how does the alpha dog say no to the others....with nipping biting, growling, etc. Whats the differance between that, and a thump on the dogs nose for trying to steal a piece of food from your hand, or jumping as a pup, or any other disipline problem you are trying to break them off.....in my mind there is a differance between beating a dog and a thump on the nose.....I am not talking about hitting hard, but just hard enough to get their attention.....just like there is a differance between beating a child and spanking their butt. What are your thoughts? I have wonderful, well behaved dogs, they don't fear people, as many people say will have if you use physical punishment, they don't shy away from hands, as others would say....I have never had any of these problems with any of my dogs.....
