From what I understand, cholestrol is only found in animal products, and therefore a vegan diet would illiminate all cholestrol intake. Does your body produce the right amount of cholestrol on its own, so the intake of cholestrol is unnessesary? Any info you can give me on this is appreciated!

My son is turning 1 and I made the mistake of inviting too many friends with their kids, now I don't know how to occupy them for 1.5 hrs. The kids range from 1-8 and there will be around 9 or 10 of them. Its also at a clubhouse since I didn't have enough room at home. All I can think of is forking over money to a clown or something but I would rather not...Any ideas? Big OOPS on my part!

Unions may not be what they used to be but people who have a union on their jobs tend to make higher salaries, and more affordable, and better health care package, the south needs to get their head out of their uneducated a-s-s-e-s, (Southern states are in the bottom 10 in education) and quit being capatalist bigots , and kissing big cooperations a-s-s-e-s. Why want the south just perrish in the night

Sorry to keep harping on this, but I have been watching "Live" for most of my life, and I can't help but notice that Kelly really has issues with men. I know she is married and all, and her hubby is a total hunk, but she does seem friendlier towards women (and she does seem more attracted to women) while she's almost always argumentative with men, even without them provoking it. I see how she interacts with Regis, and there is even a little anamosity there, and of course the whole Clay thing. I have seen male cohosts clam their hands over a male hosts mouth a few times on other talk shows as well as "Live", but along with "The View", Kelly seems like, yet, another bitter man-hater. Do you think this is true of her? I also have to say, not that I put much stock in Kelly, but as much as I couldn't stand Kathie Lee, she was never disrespectful with men, or women, or anyone, though she did seem to talk alot. But, Kelly really does seem to have a problem with men while favoring women.

I am a mother or two and just found out the my sister (19yrs old) is pregnant...7 months pregnant at that. She can not afford to take care of this baby on her own. SHe only makes $230 week. Daycare in our area in approx. $195 week. She currently lives with our dad and has not told him yet in fear that he will kick her out. Which, he probably will. My husband and I talked to her last night about what her plans are and she tells us she hasnt thought about it because it just stresses her out to much. She is also a high risk pregnancy and could deliver this baby at any given moment (incompatent cervix). The doctor told her bed rest for the remainder of the pregnancy but she is still working because she cant afford to stay on bed rest. We also asked her if she plans on keeping the baby (a girl by the way). She said that she would like to but that she just can afford to. The only placw where she lucks out is that I have every single piece of baby equipment that she will need. HELP

I've heard a couple of interesting notions on this board. One, all sins are equivalent. An early term abortion is equivlant to murder. The day after pill is the same as kicking your dog to death (sorry, it's a graphic statement but it's a bold statement). Picking one's nose and blasphemy. A related question that keeps coming up is "what's the worst sin" and invariably a lot of people pop up and say "blaspheming the lords name". What I'm left with is a picture of Christian morality not unlike a vast plateau of sin with one tiny little mound of dirt in the middle that we call Mount Blasphemore. It's utterly nonsensical to me but what I wonder is, when one of you "all sins are equivalent" believers get called up on jury duty, do you get out by saying (a) Kill him! I don't care what he did, he sinned and the wages of sin is death! or (b) I have no moral compass, I'll just set them all free if they'll confess to a belief in our lord and savior Jesus Christ
