If you mean Mozilla Firefox, it's a picture of a fox surrounding a globe. It's kinda like the old IE logo. The globe stands for the Internet (World Wide Web). (I think)

It's a fox with fire-colored fur wrapping itself around the globe. Probably to symbolize that FireFox has global reach, or is used globally.

its kinda like a firey fox running around the world.. it means that it is protecting you against any unwanted spam/viruses and also to signal that it is fast.... :)
