Also does race play a role? Just want to know your thoughts.

I telecommute and so does my male counterpart. We work from home so if we need to contact each other, it is via e-mail or the phone.

Anyway, I called my co-worker today and his wife picked up. Here's how the conversation went:

Wife: Hello?
Me: Hi, is Keith there? This is Josephine. We work together.
Wife: I don't think so! "Click." She HUNG UP the phone.

I did not wait to call back. I hit redial and was going to give her a piece of my mind. Her husband also works from home. Does she not understand that he will get calls there regarding business?! I was not going to disrespect her, but I was going to tell her that what she did was inappropriate and that I did not appreciate it.

Please tell me, was I out of line in anyway?

what do you say when someone pinpoints you and said that you started a rumor when you really didn't. also i have no idea about the rumor or who started it so i have no way to defend myself. Oh and plus im a feshman in highschool just trying to survive.

I don't really have a question. I just wanted to share my personal opinion on Christianity.A couple years ago, I decided that I am an agnostic. And here is why.I learned that people go to church out of fear of hell, not out of love for a God.Why would you love a God that makes you feel guilty for every thing you've done?And besides, nobody is ever REALLY sorry for ALL their sins....but they still ask for forgiveness anyway.Why?Because out of fear of hell.For a small number of people (mostly teens), church is a time to socialize with your friends....kinda like school.And most of time it is seen as sort of the "in" thing to be a christian.
I believe Christianity is hypocrisy, it is guilt, it is contradictory....therefore I cannot trust it.I believe all religions should be practiced at home.I do not like nor trust organized religion.All you get is false translations.It should be made illegal for people to push religion onto others.

Alright so I asked my mom if I could have someone to talk to you know like a counselor because I was dealing with a lot of issues. So she got me a therapist at first the reason why I was going was clear I'm kinda anxious and went through something. But now its all turned against me and apparently this crazy broad (therapist) is trying to tell my mom that I'm an alcoholic and really freaking her out. Shes printing off all these papers about where I am and how its affecting my life yada yada yada. well one- I never went there for a drinking problem and two- I dont have a drinking problem!! So now I'm thinking about calling it quits with the therapy.. should I?

i'm in love with a guy, and have been with him for 2 years. The thing is i pretty much know it's not going to work. he was in the military and we have kids he wants to be able to hit them, 'hit first before they do something bad' and he is almost the same with me, he wants everything to be perfect so he tries to make me that way. i like to be free and just want to care and nurture our children. do you think that can work at all??

I called the humane society on him, they said they'd send the dog warden out (he's totally useless, he doesn't give a care unless the dogs are running loose), but I think he is getting bribed. He's got so many dogs it's terrible! They are all chained up (there was at last count 30 dogs there!). He doesn't take them to the vet EVER (we saw him shoot a bunch of his cats because he didn't want to get them fixed!), and he's running an illicit business. The ASPCA and other organizations won't come out because we are so far away. This is in Pennsylvania, btw. Any suggestions about what I can do to this totally irresponsible person? You should see the poor dogs, he barely feeds, they are NEVER taken for even a SINGLE walk, and it stinks like dog poop something awful.

I'm analyzing lines from the Odyssey and I wanted to know if "Rash actions, many here, more in the countryside." would be an example of assonance. You know, RASH and ACTIONS.
