The United Nations was not formed until 1945. They did not yet exist to do anything about Hitler.

The United Nations didn't exist until the end of WWII. The League of Nations which was proposed after WWI didn't pass and wasn't approved by the United States. Therefore there was no large governing body at that time. The United States did not realize the massacre that was going on until the end of the war.

The UN was created by the Allies after WW2 to help prevent another world war and achieve other post-war aims.
The League of Nations had a similar, but lesser, role to the UN before WW2 and Hitler's rise to power. It was not well respected, the USA was not a member and it was often ignored. It had no mandate for intervention ande no mechanism for doing so legally, unlike the security council at the UN.

First of all the U.N didnt exist then
If it did, it wouldnt and couldnt do anything. It wouldnt, since the UN are widely recognized as blatant anti semites. And it couldnt , b/c the U.N is a thoroughly useless organization that couldnt even stop gang violence in our major cities. (oh and BTW, the U.N has tanks made out of aluminum)

The UN didn't exist, but I'm pretty sure that even if they did, they wouldn't do anything.
Kinda like what's going on now in Sudan, and what happened in Rwanda.

because ,primarily it didn't exist at the time!!the league of nations was still the last best hope for mankind at the time!!and it was not funded or capable of military or sanction implementation!!

It wasn't formed yet...Plus U.S. was still a innocent country and they just couldn't believe anything that evil was happening.U.N wasn't formed until the 1940's..Don't know exactly off hand.
