Here's the first one. The rest are solved the same way.

v - w = -5
v + 2w = 4

Subtracting the first equation from the second to eliminate one variable we get:

(v-v) + (2w -(-w)) = 4 -(-5)
3w = 9
w = 3

Plug the value for w back into one of the equations. Let's pick the first one.

v - w = v - 3 = -5
v = -5 +3 = -2

So

v = -2
w = 3

Sorry but I have a problem, I would be able to do this if I knew exactly what the process is. This is a little ahead of my level and I'm advanced in math, but it seems familar. Let me check my math book and i'll get back to you
