Odd situation here.
Let me lay the story 1st.
My dad left my mother right after my sister's baptism, she was about 5. He moved to Texas to be with this woman who he says he is in love with. After almost 8 years of them fighting, him beeing kicked out and arrested they decide to get married January 1st 2007.
Now my sister has always been closer to him than I was.
But when she found this news out she totaly closed up and cried in her room for almost a whole day.
I have no issue with the wedding.

Now the question.
How do I help her feel better and how do I make him understand how my sister is feeling?

It was the late 70s. My friend, a DJ working at a local radio station and I, decided to catch a buzz. He put an album on and we jumped into my Gran Torino, turned on the radio so he could hear when the album was ending, and we proceeded to get stoned. We talked for a long time and then I noticed it.....dead silence. I told my DJ friend and after yelling "SH*T!" several times, he ran into the station and put another record on. The station had experienced Dead Air for 20 minutes. Fortunately, it was 2am. No one ever found out.

One of my stories I am working on and have been trying to research is a civil war turned world war (well nearly) inside Russia and some of its former republics.

In order to help defend parts of the government held areas, the US needs to put in temporary runways. These would be in isolated regions of Siberia.

Someone once told me there was a way to do so, without concrete, hangers (well at least big ones) and control towers.

It deals with something that looks liek winter tire chains. Supposedly its laid down on any kind of ground and can handle most air traffic.

Is this real? can it be used in frozen lands like Siberia?

If its not, can anyone suggest a better way? I dont know if there are many airports out there.

She's had bronchitis twice in 3 months & is nowing getting a chest cold again. I though t might be my smoking in the house, so since the last time she got sick I smoke on my porch. The doctor doesn't have an answer except allergies but I don't buy it. She did have over 15 ear infections as a baby (she's 14 now) & they were going to put the tubes in but they stopped at age 4. Now they're starting up again. She's been on the Z pack antiobiotics so much they don't work anymore. If you don't know why can you please tell me how to make her feel better without antibiotics again. The doctor says if she takes much more they won't help her when she gets older, but she is in such pain with her ears & only got off the Z pack a week ago Thanks to anyone who can offer advice
