It's wrong. It's the same as killing another human being. Your life is as precious as any other life. There is always help for your problems. If you need counseling, it is available in most areas for free. I would be happy to help you find free counseling if you can't find it on your own. There is always a solution to problems. Please talk to someone. I will listen and try to help if you don't have anyone else to talk to. Much love to you.

Yes, it's self murder. It is one of the greatest sins you can to do because you sure can't ask for forgiveness after it's done. I was very depressed five years ago and I tried to kill myself. That whole year is just bits and pieces for me, it's hard to remember much about it now. I am so happy that my son found me when he did, even though I was dead when they got me to the hospital. For a day and a half I had to have a machine breath for me, it was a hard road to come back from. If you are thinking about doing this please go and talk to someone, anyone and if you don't have someone and this is still on your mind go and check yourself into a hospital for help. Please know that once this bad time in your life has past and your life starts becoming enjoyable again, you will be so glad you didn't do this. And if you think no one will miss you, you are so wrong; even if you don't have anything to love you but an old cat, you need to think about what would happen to it. This is a bad time for a lot of people, but nothing or no one is worth dying for, unless you're trying to save someone Else's life. Good luck to you, God loves you, if you believe it or not.

That depends.

Some religious and cultural groups view suicide as a sin, no matter what.

Others (judaism for one) believe that a person who is driven to commit suicide is not in their right mind at that time, and therefore cannot be held responsible for their actions.

Generally, suicide is not about ending a life but about ending the pain, whether it be physical or emotional. It may not seem as dramatic, but here's an analogy for you.

I once called in sick because a severe sinus infection had not allowed me to sleep for a couple of nights. In the message that I left for my boss, I said that I just wanted to cut my sinuses out of my head.

Well, that would cost me my life. But I didn't want to end my life - just the pain from the sinus infection.

The reality is that each of us must decide for ourselves whether or not it is any of our business if someone else commits suicide. And if it is, we each must decide for ourselves whether or not, from what we know of that person, their decision was justifiable for them. It's not, ever, up to us to judge another person's pain or the actions that result from that pain.

Yes, but it is not unforgiveable.

The old testament records the story of King Saul, and He thrust himself on his own sword. The Bible records that the prophet Samuel warned him that "Tomorrow you and your sons will be with me." The Prophet Samuel was dead and in paradise.
All problems end, Grey skies turn blue, and there are always good times ahead. God always makes a way of escape, pray for it. E-mail me aflacbigspring@yahoo.com. I have been there, and I am glad I am still here. If I could make it, I know you can.

...Suicide is not the unpardonable sin, but is a tragedy and waste of a life that God could have used for good. While there is life, there is always hope. God gives us life to invest in good things and we are to help other people. And there are answers in God's word for every need.
...One contemplating suicide tends to be all wrapped up in one's self - a preoccupation with yourself will cause you to be ineffective for God. One should re-focus and start serving others. The happiest people on earth are those who are serving others.
...Jesus, the Greatest Servant, said in Mark 10:45, "For even the Son of Man did not come to be served but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many."

There is help for your problems, really. I get suicidal here and there and have dealt with depression for years. It is hard, but your not the only one. That is why there are many hot lines and doctors to help. Try that avenue first before ending your life. No matter how dissatisfied my daughter was with herself or her life, It would tear me apart if she took it from herself. Someone will feel the same way about you. If you ever need to talk, click on my cartoon picture and email me. I know how you feel, so feel free!

There is always Christ, but to answer your question, no where in the bible does it say you go to hell for it, it is a thing the catholics made up with saying you have to confess, in that case if i call someone an asshole and a truck hits me a minute afterword and I didn't ask forgiveness then I go to hell, so like 99.99 percent of the people are hell in that case. There are better ways out, I would consider meeting Christ and accepting him. Go in Christ bro
