My main ? is transitioning to milk. My pedi. said I can just give her milk or transition like 1/2 and 1/2. She still won't use a sippy cup even though we try many times a day. She loves a regular cup though. My pedi. said not to put the milk in the bottle, but I know I did with my other dd and I have friends who do it. Is it really a big deal? I am afraid to change to milk because she doesn't eat much food and she won't get the nutrition she needs but my dr. said she will eat when she is hungry. She told me to drop 2 of her 4 bottles and offer her milk in a cup and eventually drop all bottles. What ways worked best for some of you. Now I am going to stress about this. I had so much stress and worry about her development and now look what she is doing. In a few weeks or month she will be drinking out of a cup and I would have worried for no reason.anyway, I would love some advice on how you all did the formula to milk. I thanks Debbie

Because of certain holiday plans, my family is spending Christmas morning in a hotel near my sister's house. Her home is small, and she shares it with a roommate -- so staying there is a no go. However, how do we make the hotel a little more festive without stepping outside the hotel guidelines? Waking up in a typical box hotel room is anything but merry. Help!

I just caught my 8 month old, 52 pound dog chewing an ant trap!
It is one of the plastic ones. She didn't get it open, but I could see bite marks and some of the stuff on the inside! I gave her water and let her outside.

We have had the house for 2 years. It was from the old owner. I know it was from behind the furnace because I just had the water heater replaced and noticed it on the floor.

Do you think she will be OK? She seems to be right now.

Me and my husband live 5 hrs. apart. He wants me to move I don't really know if I want to, even though I told him I would (only once, and it was after a long fight where I just gave up arguing because I couldn't argue anymore) He knows I love my job, and he knows that things are complicated with my son's father. I currently make about 40,000. He has no income right now because he is still in the process of building his new house. He doesn't want me to work when I move, and instead I would go to school, which I have always wanted to do again but I worry he won't be able to make enough to support me and my son and him also, in the way I like to live. I am just getting out of debt, where i worked very hard and am finally getting results. In addition, my son would have to see his father, so I would be driving back and forth (5 hrs. one way) twice a week to pick him and bring him back. I don't know what to do? HELP!!

Frank always looked on the bright side. He would constantly
irritate his friends with his eternal optimism. No matter how
horrible the circumstance, he would always reply, "It could
have been worse." To cure him of his annoying habit, his
friends decided to invent a situation so completely bad, so
terrible, that even Frank could find no hope in it.

On the golf course one day, one of them said, "Frank, did
you hear about Tom? He came home last night, found his wife
in bed with another man, shot them both and then turned the
gun on himself!"

"That`s awful," said Frank, "But it could have been worse." How in the hell," asked his bewildered friend, "Could it
have been worse?"

"Well," replied Frank, "If it happened the night before, I`d
be dead now!"

We recently relocated and moved in with family. We needed a place to stay to get on our feet etc. We have always paid "rent", and paid our own way. Now we are ready to move, and they don't want us to. We are crammed in a small bedroom (there are four of us), and although we get along very well as friends/family, we are ready to move into our own residence. Now we are certain that they rely on income that we provide to them throughout the month. We told them we were going to look after the first of the year, however they are emphatic we don't move. What do we do? We don't want to leave them in a pinch because they helped us with a roof over our head (even though we paid for it) in our time of need. Any suggestions?? Solutions??
