Totally Boyband is a television program airing in the United Kingdom on MTV. The program debuted September 18, 2006 and airs Sunday nights at 21:30 (GMT).

The premise centers around the former members of boy bands and pop music bands attempting to regain their former fame by regrouping into a new band called Upper Street. A single called The One is scheduled for release on October 23.

The participants are:

Danny Wood of New Kids on the Block
Dane Bowers of Another Level
Jimmy Constable of 911
Bradley McIntosh of S Club 7
Lee Latchford-Evans of Steps
The single was later recorded without the help of Latchford-Evans, who left the band before their debut release due to a disagreement with band members. He described the bands manager in the program, Jonathan Shalit as "two-faced".[1]

Upper Street's debut single The One entered the UK singles chart at number 35 on the 29th October 2006.

It was announced in October 2006 that US music network VH1 would be producing its own version of the show, titled Man Band with Bryan Abrams (Color Me Badd), Rich Cronin (LFO), Chris Kirkpatrick (*NSYNC) and Jeff Timmons (98 Degrees).

They didn't get to number 1. They said they would carry on anyway, but have heard nothing. Guess they've disbanded. It was never gonna work.
