I always eat a bowl of cereal and some fruit. It's not real heavy and it's full of vitamins.

Make sure that you get the right amont of sleep, but the right foods would be fruits and veggies. Maybe some apple juice or orange juice, cranberry juice is really good. Aviod hot things like cocoa or coffee, not only do they make you sleepy, but for some since both products have caffine in it, it can stimulate you bowels and make you go to the bathroom. You see caffine has a stimulint in it that causes the muscles of your intestine to contract and retract causing you to have to use the bathroo, so once again aviod th warm stuff. Avoid eating anything heavy because this too will make you sleepy because it takes alot of energy to burn off a sausage, egg, and cheese buscuit. So keep it light and keep it healthy to insure maxium focus.

Stay away from sugar... a sugar crash can hit you 30 min-an hour afterwards and make you tired. Same thing for a big meal- I wouldn't have a huge meal if you get tired after eating a lot at one sitting.

I'd have something moderate, and make sure to get some quality complex carbs in there for energy.

You should eat some complex carbohydrates to provide energy and some proteins to keep your mind off of your stomach.
