I'm graduating with a degree of Computer Engineering this coming Summer and I really want to pursue MBA but I have a low GPA of 2.81. I'm trying to pump up my GPA to 3.0 so I can at least consider to apply to a decent MBA grad school. Currently my plan is to work for one year and then pursue this goal. Do you think this is a good plan or is it better to pursue it right after you finish college? What is the average time when people consider for MBA after graduating?

I've always wondered this, ever since I hooked up with a few different black Chicks. They all seemed to have unique or different names and usually they said they had a meaning in African, they couldn't really tell me though. So is it part of the black culture to give their kids unique African names or just made up weird sounding names?

I had 2 goldfish for xams off my boyfriend, and a large standard plastic tank with no filter...just rocks and an ornament....
Ive had loads of fish before but these ones dont seem to wanna move, they just sit there...looking pissed off! Woke up this morning, the tank water was all cloudy BUT...they were swimming round like troopers...

Have i gone wrong somewhere??

Then I heard a story about a month ago that drug runners from South America were smuggling cocaine into the US with an old Soviet Sub. How much do you think it would cost (US$) to buy one of these Kilo class subs and how would the US Coast Guard not Navy catch a sub that is under water that deep?

my ex dumped me 3 weeks ago.. i still love her and want her back, she said she is too young to be in a serious trelationship, but a week or 2 before we broke up she said she is really happy with our relationship she wanted a serious relationship , we dont even live together, we are both 19.. i took it hard, i begged her for nearly 2 weeks to take me back, i feel dump for begging, so im playing it cool now..she said she was goin to a bar the other nite i didnt go(keepin cool) dats what ive been told to do if i want her back..she rang the next day askin bout her stuff in my room.. she e mailed me today, i was just talking to her as a freind i acted as if i was fine... we where talkin bout casual stuff, then she asked me if i was with any other girl.. i said no, then she said i bet u are ,u can tell me i dont mind... do you think this means she still has feelings for me? if she really didnt care she wouldnt have asked in the first place,,,, i want other peoples oppinions.thanks

Can anyone out there help me with the following? any advice at all is greatly appreciated.....We live in a block of 15 flats and have just bought the freehold so we can undertake some refurbishments. All 15 of us own an equal share. However, unwittingly it seems that we have voted in a board of directors (4 other residents) who will spend the money in the communal maintenence fund as they see fit - without consulting any other residents. You see, a letter was put through our door asking if we were happy for 4 people to be voted in who would be in charge of accounts, taking minutes of any meetings etc. We all agreed, but certainly were not aware that we were agreeing to them to make all decisions to do with our property. We thought there would be a vote of 15 with majority getting their way. For example, one of the guys has decided it's appropriate to lay down a black and yellow carpet in communal stairs without consulting anyone, except the 4 other guys. When i asked him about this
