I already have my eyebrow pierced and it didn't hurt at all, I want to get my lip, I'm just wondering what hurts worse. Appreciate the constructive comments, but the silly little kids who say stupid things need not, it just shows their ignorance and stupidity!

Appreciate the constructive comments, but the silly little kids who say stupid things need not, it just shows their ignorance and stupidity! The job issue I understand, but it's not an issue where I work so... Of course neither is what I wear to work. If you want those kind of benefits then work in a job where you can. Personally I think the quality of your work is what should matter, not how you look, that's too easy to deceive people. Lot's of serial killers look very nice and neat.

I have had both. Neither hurt durring the piercing, just remember to exhale when the needle goes in, a good artist will tell you the same. It is because when you exhale your nerves have a slower, and seems like less painful feeling. Your lip will take longer to heal. You are going to have to wash with listerine every time you eat or smoke, and not to be graphic but when ever anything goes in your mouth you have to wash too. With your eye, you have to be very careful not to get cleanser in your eye. Both have their flaws. I personally think the lip is nicer looking.

Your lip hurts a lot more (depending on how close you get to your actual lip). The different pigmentation on your lips show you that you have more nerve endings there (think about all the pinky areas of your body. . .) and I had mine done on the edge of the lip. Didn't bleed, but it hurt a lot more than I thought it would. Totally worth it though. :)

Sweetheart don't mark up your face with pericings the scars will be there for your whole life, I'm not againts tattoos and pericings , I have a tattoo and my belly botton pierces, but i can hide both of them at all times, when your a professional in the job industry you will not want to have a big scar over your lip or eyebrow, talk about un professional!

Neither is terribly painful during the actual piercing process but your lip would cause more discomfort during the healing process because you would rub the piercing when talking, eating, breathing, moistening your lips, etc. But honestly, both are completely tolerable to get and heal.

I would think that the lip piercing would hurt worse. It would be hard to eat at first, I would think. I don't have either one so to me they both would hurt like h***.

Neither is all that painful but you have to keep an eye on them so they don't get infected. That is what really hurts. Good Luck

I suggest you pierce your eyebrow to your lip, if your looking for some real pain.

I say they both hurt the same. It can sometimes depend on which area of the face is more sensitive for you.
