It depends. My favorite places just to hang out are the beaches at Santa Monica and Venice, the Getty Museum, and the Olvera Street market. If you'll be in town for Memorial or Labor day weekends, you might want to check out the street fair that Hermosa Beach puts on. Beyond that, the amusement parks, movie studios, and Hollywood Blvd. are always fun for tourists.

Universal Studios, Beverly Hills, Kodak Theatre, Disneyland which is in Orange County. Most studios for popular TV programmes are found in LA as well.

Depends on the time of year and weather. Palm Springs in the dead of winter when it is cold everywhere else. The amusement parks inthe spring if it is not raining, the beaches in the fall when the June glooms goes away.
