I feel like, looking at a picture of myself that was recently taken when I didn't know it, that I should not even be seen in public because of how HORRID I look in such a candid photograph!
Why, when there are people like Natalie Portman, Charlize Theron, and Salma Hayek in this world would any guy give me a chance? Or...there are just plain naturally pretty girls out there that should be content with themselves...but it feels like in society those that aren't semi-attractive should be especially pushed aside and not acknowledged for their talents. Fame is 70% looks, most of the time!!! It's so frustrating and discouraging. At times, I feel that I could accomplish so much more in life, that I could be so much more respected if I was a teeny bit more attractive. I've been called all of those nice adjectives once, but ahhh, it's hard to feel great when you feel like hte least pretty person in a room. Why is our culture arranged this way? Why aren't we more loved for our inner qualities
