Paper it is! If you have time Mail him a certificate of appreciation with a secret coupon that he can redeem for services. If no time then just lay the certificate on his pillow or table at breakfast or in lunch box. You can make a certificate using MS Word. However here is the kicker - Give directions and clues to the next letter hidden somewhere in the house or elsewhere. It could be elaborate and lead to the place you had your first date. Then at that chosen place leave a mystery note a little more seductive. Maybe a pair of undies in it or just a pair cut in half. Then lead him to the other half at yet another location. Then depending on the foreplay the next item or place for him to go is a place to pick up your favorite drink or food eventually leading him home to a surprise in the shower or bed. This can be modified in many ways but the idea is for the certificate of appreciation leading to a coupon of sorts to turn in for being a good boy so to say.
Good luck.

For our first annerversary the gift I gave my husband was a pair of jeans....... but I also had another gift for him.... I put on brand new lingerie (I can't spell that lol) and a red ribbon, and told him I was his gift. He forgot the jeans, but he still brings up the other gift I gave him ;-)

If you know what he's into hobby wise, you might want to get him something that ties into the hobby. If he's into a sport, maybe something with his favorite team. It's hard for women to get gifts for men sometimes lol. My husband is always telling me he wants this or that, mostly clothes, but he's into a few different things, so I usually get him some tools, or some modle cars, this year I got him a guitar. If you know his interests, then it's not so hard. If all else fails, you can get him a gift that's for both of you.... lol some lingerie :-)

This is the paper anniversary, try naming a star after him at the national star registy, they will send you a paper certificate. It might take some time to come in, but print up a paper receipt for the anniversary, so that you can show him how you immortalized him in the stars, then when they mail you the certificate later, you can have a part two celebration of your anniversary.

well, first anniversary is traditionally paper...so try some tickets to a sports event or movie; or surprise him with an overnight stay in a hotel and enjoy their pool, etc....
