First off, Prakash is wrong about several things.

# 1- Cancer is extremely painful. I know this because I spent the last 6 months with my sister taking care of her while breast cancer spread throughout her entire body, causing her enormous amounts of horrible pain. If you've never encountered a person with cancer, you are lucky.

# 2- My Mom has end-stage lung cancer. This kills by slowly cutting off all the oxygen to the blood and lungs as they fill with liquid and the person eventually suffocates or drowns in their own lung fluids. It is, perhaps, the worst way to die, knowing you cannot draw another breath, because while you are still able to think, see and hear, you cannot breath. It is horrible.

# 3- All cancers are a mutation of a cell. Whether it is a cell in the brain, liver, colon, breast or wherever the cancer is found. Most cancers are fed by blood. In recent research it has been noted that in order to stop certain cancers, they need to cut off its blood supply.

All cancers kill by eventually destroying a persons entire immune system, shutting down all of the body's organs until death occurs. When our immune system is so overworked by trying to kill off the mutated cancer cells that it can no longer function, the body begins to systematically shut down. It can no longer sustain life. The blood that carries oxygen to our vital organs is no longer able to do so, so these organs begin to deteriorate and eventually, death occurs. In some cases, death is swift and merciful, in others it is long and painful.
No matter how you look at it, cancer is not an easy thing to deal with or to talk about. It is good that you asked this question and I am happy to be able to help answer it.
God bless you.

Cancer cells attack the normal cell in a persons body, and it is like when you are clean but then get dirty. Cancer destroys peoples organs or blood depending on what kind of cancer they have. Yes Cancer is very painful, your body is being attacked daily, that is why thy use chemo and radiation for treatment. I would contact Cancer Treatment Centers Of America for their help, they treat the entire person, physically, emotionally, and mentally and spiritually.

It depends on the type of cancer.

For instance, brain cancer, when it grows can cause blood clots, causing a stroke.

Liver or prostate cancer stops those organs from functioning properly, forcing poisonous waste back in the blood stream, causing damage to other organs.

Lung cancer disallows the lungs to saturate blood with a sufficient amount of oxygen, leading to desaturation and stroke conditions, as well.

Cancer is generally painless. It usually grows in such a fashion to prevent organs from doing their common tasks. Once it is detected by physical symptoms, it's usually too late.

cancer kills not by attacking but by mutilating. like a basketball that keeps being pumped up and pumped up until it explodes. like a tumor is cancerious and it grows and grows. you know the huge tumor that actually deforms the person. and just over takes and multiplies until the body is not able to function and dies.
