Why the hell you should be frustrated? If you work on your qualities and work hard, then you can make them look like fool.
And put it this way, they entertain us, they're just entertainers, so you should not give a **** about them.

Hmmm... seems like you are asking a rhetorical question not about celebreties (I note with interest WHAT they are celebrated for, remember that the famous come in many guises, each suited to their chosen sphere) but rather about how you compare yourself to the image of your chosen standard.
All who are famous (or infamous for that matter) are not necessarily of the physical standards you have set your sites upon. A fame based on talent, skill, achievement, expertise, etc. doesn't necessarily also impose the same beauty standards that a career based as a clothes horse or spokes model might.
While I objectively agree that you will have to work harder than you otherwise might if your appearance is not in keeping with the accepted NORM for whatever your are trying to shine in, ultimately you will ALL need to deliver something extraordinarily well, or by definition, you would not be famous.
Ask yourself this... you say you could acomplish so much more if you were a teeny bit more attractive. What do you lack? Grooming is cheap. Dress can be achieved on a showstring if you shop well and/or sew. Physical appearance to a degree is a function of diet and exercise as well as the gene pool.
What can you do to achieve the "tiny bit" you lack? If you CAN adjust something AND it would make you feel better about yourself AND you would perform whatever it is you do better because of it... stop procrastinating. Why aim for mediocroity? GO FOR IT!

Those women you mention don't actually look that great in real life. They're cute, sure, but the images of them in you've seen are the result of lots of makeup, excellent lighting, and skilled photographers --- yeah, even the candids -- and most importantly, what you see in their photos is heavily colored by your OWN perception that they are Beautiful People Larger Than Life. If you ran into Charlize Theron in the grocery store you might do a double take because she's attractive, but you wouldn't faint with amazement. There are people who are as attractive as those people ALL OVER... they just are not celebrated in the media.
I happen to be very plain. In fact if I were in front of you, you probably would not even be able to see me at all, I am so plain (ugly). But there are advantages to being ugly. The main one being: you have a built in filter for who the really cool, genuine, smart people are. Everything has its ups and downs, and I sometimes pity the physically attractive. Because they are so used to being valued for their superficial appearance, it makes them become superficial themselves; and they put up with a lot of superficial relationships and people who desire them for only their surface.

Don't worry too much what celebrities look like, they look the same as anyone without all the make up. Also, in magazines they remove all the 'flaws' like spots and freckles, they even make womens necks look longer and make their waists look thinner. You mentioned Charlize Theron, you should see the film 'Monster' where she was made up to look like Aileen Wournos (the serial killer), it goes to show that anything can be achieved with make up.
Don't worry, I'm sure you're as pretty as any celebrity.
By the way, here's a film you should look at - http://www.campaignforrealbeauty.com/home_films_evolution_v2.swf

Oh no, dont put yourself down like that. Most celebrities are ordinary looking you would walk past them in public and not look back .
Dont forget that they hire a public relations manager. These people choose the pictures to publish that are most flattering. It takes a lot of money to maintain a celebrity's image.

Fame is only fame due to crazy women (which is most of them) going to the supermarket and buying Star or National Enquirer and being fascinated by their lives. These people would not even be famous if it weren't for housewives with secret dreams

the whole "movie star image" is to blame for all our (females) self esteem...because the starlets are so nice looking on camera, due to make up, airbrushing, personal trainers, hair stylists, and especially the money, they have the ability to look "that good"...and that's what has made today's females so insecure about themselves and feelings that we too have to look that good to get the attention from men, or high self esteem...what there is to realize is that we personally don't know these movie stars, singer, etc..but i'm more than sure that if we were to see one without her makeup on and her hair undone, she wouldn't be so "hot"...it's all in the makeup, girl...it does wonders..it's all in the money...that's why we all feel we don't look that great...we have the images of these women, so supposedly gorgeous in our heads and all they're "made up" to be, that we look down on ourselves... :s

Accentuate the positive, eliminate the negative and don't mess with mr in-between.. apply that to your daily life and you'll be just fine. Unless of course you just want to be happy again. In which case you must Go to Jesus in prayer. the best advice anyone could give is to stay humble.

Hubert. i like the call, genuinely like it, yet all of us i understand purely says "Hubert? HAHAHA! What an unlucky call." *sigh* i might in all likelihood use Beulah as a midsection call, reason oddly i ought to verify human beings making the bounce from Beulah and Beluga - consequently earning nicknames like "whale"... I dunno, possibly i'm basically a variety of extraordinary those that makes extraordinary institutions and my theory line shouldnt be taken too heavily... i might ask some babies of fairly some a while what the call makes them think of of, see if that is basically me being extraordinary =p. *edit* to a distinctive poster: i like the call Rupert too! yet all of us i've got ever asked approximately it hates it. =/ I watched this tutor while i became into youthful some bear named Rupert and fell in love with the call then. that is purely been floating on my responsible excitement checklist because of the fact that then. yet, oddly, human beings like it greater suitable than they like Hubert... in my view i think of they are somewhat comparable so liking Rupert greater suitable than Hubert is slightly extraordinary to me... *edit returned... lol that's starting to be commenting, sorry* to ?p? ?: *will advance hand* i like Bartholomew. that is on my checklist for a boy.
