He lied about certain details concerning his marriage (they are now divorced). I wish he could have told me the truth but he says the past belongs in the past and he doesn't want to discuss it. It wasn't anything bad just complicated stuff about his ex-wife being a lesbian. I feel like he should be able to talk about it. I don't know why he lied in the first place. I feel really hurt and betrayed. Am I over reacting?

In approx. 1200 BC, the Petra area (in modern Jordan, about 80 kilometers south of the Dead Sea) was populated by Edomites, descended from Esau according to the Bible, and was known as Edom ("red"). Before the Israelites arrived in Canaan and repeatedly battled with them, the Edomites controlled the fertile valleys from the Red Sea at Elath to the Dead Sea, and hence the trade routes from Arabia in the south to Damascus in the north.

Subsequently, the Nabataeans, one of many Arab tribes, migrated into Edom, forcing the Edomites to move into southern Palestine. By 312 BC the Nabataeans occupied Petra and made it the capital of their kingdom. The Edomites were later forcibly converted into Judaism by John Hyrcanus (died 105 BC), and then became an active part of the Jewish people. Petra prospered as the principal city of the Nabataean empire from 400 BC to AD 106.

My son moved into an aptmt. The paint was chipping on the walls and for curtains, there were old ripped bed sheets. He lived there for about 2-3 months and then gave his 30 day notice. He was waiting for the deposit back, when he finally got it back she kept 120.00 for curtains and 85.00 for a new lock on the door, because he brought the key back 1 day late. Anybody know the laws in the state of Minnesota? Can we report her anyplace?

I know someone who does not get free state dental care and doesn't make income enough for insurance. Her teeth are rotten into the gums and it isn't from drug use so please don't assume. Am trying to think of a plan to get together with others to pay the dentist but not let her know. She is in constant pain and has abcesses. Location is MIssouri.

I went through a very bad marriage, and returned to my native country to be in a safer environment. I have had a baby boy since. Now my sister in law is visiting the country....well not exactly me but a whole host of relatives. One of her agenda is to return some petty stuff from the wedding( on my husbands behalf)....to make a point that they dont owe me anything more...and of course see the baby.

Through out the marriage she maintained a very cordial/neutral stance....and finally did tell me that I made mistakes and it was upto to me to have kept the marraige.

I am not upto it to be magnanimous and meet her with a hug exactly. Infact I wouldnt want to see her as the divorce is coming throught this month itself.

What is good etiquette in this case ?

it's been 6 months since we've talked and everyday i still think about my ex at least once a day. i ended the relationship because he lied about where he was, smokes, and is in a gang, and its hard to talk to his freidns cuz they dunt speak englihs! we were seeig each other for about 6 months. we never really kissed, or held hands. but i no we liked each other a lot......yeah man omg he was almost 21. and i was 18. .....when you think about it, it still bothers you and make you feel like it happen just yesterday and you forgave the person, but you can never forget what they did, you try to forget but it keeps coming back and that wound is still there (emotionaly) and you and that person love each other. opinions please.
