if you get a Vizio, make sure you get a parts AND labor warranty. They like to replace the parts, but make you pay for labor. Its cheap because Vizios are a cheaper, generic brand. They break down easily, and the parts become discontinued after about 2 years. We get them in alot lately and cant get parts even from Vizio for half of them.

I would like to inform you that off brand HDTVs are not worth wasting the money on. Take the time to go to the stores and compare HDTVs. Cheap HDTVs may look fine but the picture will ware and the company won't cover your warranty if something goes wrong. The TVs have much cheaper parts in them. It is definitely worth spending the money on a good HD set. Otherwise you're just going to be buying another HDTV in 2 or 3 years. The reviews for Vizio HDTVs are very bad.
Most of these companies won't repair your TV, even if it's their fault. They have horrible pictures for cable television. They also die out much sooner.
Go with a name brand when you're buying such high-end consumer electronics. Mitsubishi, Samsung or LG are very good brands with decent prices on HDTVs. Maybe consider a DLP, they are the best type of set out there currently and very low price.
