You can do a google search on his name and also add Michigan to the search.
You can send him a letter, hopefully he has had his mail forwarded.
You can try contacting her relatives and see if you can find out where your brother moved to.
How did you find out he actually moved to Michigan? I would question the person that told you that further. They have to have some more details.

I know the Social Security Agency has helped locate lost family members. What they do is: take their info from you, cross check it, then call person to person his phone to tell him you're looking for him, giving him your contact info.
A friend of mine was located this way by his natural father(whom he hadn't seen in 30 years).
