I mean if someone were to actually take the time to read the entirety of this here question I am posting they would know that I don't want an answer to the "why" question above. All I want is a single word answer that tells me what you favorite color its. Maybe I'm worng but I have a feeling that most answerers won't follow this instruction.

I can't figure out why there's no sound coming from my laptop speakers. Everything's set up correctly. The volume is up. It says all the devices are working properly. It worked yesterday, but last night, there was no sound. I tried the PC tests, and nothing is coming out. I've had the laptop for a few years now. It's a Gateway DS 400SP PLUS with XP.

Is there ANY way I can fix this, any suggestions? I'm so desperate, you don't even know. I'd like to be able to fix this without taking it in, if at all possible.

I just recently got both of my upper ears pierced about 3 days ago, and it definantly hurts to sleep on either side, so needless to say Im sleeping on my back... They have little gold hoops in them, and they dont hurt unless I accidently bump them.. They arent red or anything and Ive been cleaning them with the solution I was given twice a day.. Just wanted to know if there were anyone out there who knows how long it will take for them to stop being so sore.. When can I finally sleep on my ears.. ????

My alge level stays at about 6.4. Ive tried to get it up to at least 7.0 but just cant. Ive tried everything i know of. Ive kept fish tanks for a long time and never had a problem with this. I am also having a problem with the alge in the tank. Ive got another question posted about that. Since we have moved into a new house in a different location with different water i just cant get the Ph up. We have had fish that we owned for a very long time die and new ones that have been put in die. The only fish in the tank are these 2 catfish looking things that used to stay at the bottom before the bala sharks died. Since they have doubled in size and taken over the tank. We have had them for about 4 years and they have made it through the good and bad times.....seems like they are the only fish that are strong enough to survive all the mess the fish tank is in right now.
Anyway, what are some good suggestions for raising the Ph??
