We never too old to learn something new. Even the one who already reach eighty years old still got a degree. And if you always practice, believe me you will be good at it. That's a bonus for you to know all the basic stuff because it will be easier when you learn.

It's never too late to learn. I took up the violin at the age of 40. One month after I started lessons, I played a solo at my church. So go after it, learn it, practice. And have fun with it!

You never too old to learn anything!
Let's put it this way:Mariah Carey was 25 years-old when she started to have singing lessons and look at her now,one of the best voices!

absolutely not! if you have aptitude go for it! I started at 15, a little older than most, and am now working on gr. 9 with plans to teach. also, my teacher has had senior students with apptitude, she taught a man in his 70's how to play, and he is now a good composer. age has very little to do with it.
Good Luck!

There's a saying that "music is for everyone" whether it be the one who is performing or the listener and no it's never too late to start playing. The only time when it's too late is when you're dead.

it's never too late to make a go at anything, whether you'll be good at it or not depends on how hard u work at it and what makes it easier is if u are talented...the only way to find out is to try!!

enjoy it and good luck
