I mean if someone were to actually take the time to read the entirety of this here question I am posting they would know that I don't want an answer to the "why" question above. All I want is a single word answer that tells me what you favorite color its. Maybe I'm worng but I have a feeling that most answerers won't follow this instruction.

Your question shoul be the primary attention for those reading it for them to answer. If you ask a why do you think blah blah blah question and people tell you why they think blah, blah, blah then why should you be confused or upset when you have added some notes blow saying disregard the question I just want you to tell me your favorite color. Well, you shoul have simply asked what is your favorite color then. You apparently are having difficulties communicating what you want to know. That may be the reson you are not getting the types of answers you want. You may understand your communication but apparently the majority of others fail to understand what you are attempting to communicate. Maybe you should be decisive, to the point and make the question direct and eliminate the confusion.
