I am going to court in January for a speeding ticket I recieved. I got two tickets which is 4 points on my license just a little over a year and a half ago it will be 2 years in April. for speeding but with me going to be an EMT/Firefighter I cannot have two more points on my license or I will be fired. I am going to admit responsiblity but ask if instead take driver improvment class or something else instead of the points. When I go in will I be able to talk to the cop before court starts or the DA? What are my chances maybe of taking a defensive driving class instead? Do I need to talk to the cop about it before and have him suggest it??

After 10 years of web design and development, I want to start my own design and development company.

I tried in the past but with VERY many fly-by-night types, and EVERYONE has a web idea, I insist on having my wages partially paid up front, at least at first.

This is reasonable correct?

What is a good idea or plan to put into place / writing, to get over this very important hurdle?

I am currently working at an environmental company & have been with this company for 2 yrs. I do not presently have a degree. I was very lucky to snag this job!! I do however want to go back to school very badly!! I must make the decsion if I want to get a degree in environmental science or a related field ...b/c Im not sure how long I would want to or could stay at my present job....or if I should get a degree that is general & I could apply to many different jobs once completed. Im looking into a online degree program as it seems the most conveinent & I could keep my present full time job. Is there anyone out there that has some solid advice to give me?? My x husband owes me over $5000 dollars in child support payments. He has only payed 215 dollars in 16 months. He is only working a part time job and working at a bar as a dj for cash. He has had 3 court orders for child support now. He is going in contempt this month. Since it has been 15 months and I haven't received very much, I would rather see him go to jail for a couple years. I know I wouldn't get any child support but to take a way his freedom would make me happy. Do you think he will go to jail because he is refusing to pay me? How long do you think he would get minimum?

I have a small African Violet bought from a store and it has like 2 parts of tuber. Since I brought it home there has been some green foliage that has developed from both sides of the tuber. These new leaves are green and nice but only on one side of the tuber, the sprout from the other end of the tuber produced green leaves but somehow half of these leaves are blotchy and pale just like most of the older leaves.
I water them mostly by placing the pot in water and if i ever do water them from the top i make sure to avoid watering the leaves and the tuber. I give them 12 hours of uninterrupted darkness and try to provide as much light as I can. I do feed it with an African Violet fertilizer. I changed the soil that it was orignally in and hence it now has lighter soil and good drainage.

What is it that I am doing wrong? I want the foliage to look all green and healty.

Please help!
