I am surprised that you say its very slow, I am using it for a few months myself and its perfect. In case you want to revert to IE6, just go to your control and delete it from there and it will automatically revert to IE6 (or any previous version you were using before installing IE7).

Click on Start, Settings, Control Panel, Add/Remove Programs and the Show Updates box at the top. After the list loads, find Internet Explorer 7 and remove it. After removal, close Control Panel and restart your computer so it will accept the changes. when you log back on, it will revert to IE6.

To uninstall Internet Explorer 7
In Windows, click Start, click Control Panel, and then click Add or Remove Programs.
Click Remove a program.
In the list of currently installed programs, click Internet Explorer 7, and then click Remove.
Follow the prompts on the screen to uninstall Internet Explorer.
If you want to, you can now download and reinstall Internet Explorer 7 by visiting the Internet Explorer 7 (http://www.microsoft.com/windows/ie) website.
Note
If you had a previous version of Internet Explorer on your computer before you installed Internet Explorer 7, your computer will roll back to the previous version if you uninstall Internet Explorer 7.

Click on Start, settings, control panel, and you'll see "Ad-Remove Programs" on the screen. Scroll through the list until you see Internet Explorer 7, and click on it to remove it.
Your PC will revert back to IE6. I had to do this as well, since I have an older pc.
