Hi I am to speak at the University in February to a class of 200. This is about a life experience which I won't get in to here.
I am terrified of speaking in public, always have been. My whole body goes into a tense, shakey, uncomfortable existence that is so utterly noticeable. This talk is very important and I want to come across as strong and confident rather than nervous and unsure of myself.
Can anyone offer serious techniques that will help?

OKAYYY, SEROUSLY I HATE BOTH MY AUNT N MY MOM. MY MOM AND MY DAD HAD SEPERATED SINCE I WAS LITTLE BUT THEY KEPT GOING BACK AND DIVORCING WHICH WASNT THAT BIG OF A DEAL TO ME AND MY BROTHER.BUT NOW THEY'RE ARGUEING SOOO MUCH THAT I HAD TO LIVE W/ MY AUNT N MY UNCLE AND THEY LIVE IN HONG KONG. I HAVE ALSO LIVED WITH THEM BEFORE. SO BASICALLY THAT MEANS I HAVE ALMOST NEVER LIVED W/ MY REAL PARENTS.. MAYBE 3 OR 4 YRS. WELL MY AUNT BROUGHT ME HERE IS BECAUSE WHENEVER MY MOM ARGUED WITH MY DAD, MY MOM TOOK IT OUT ON ME. SHE USED TO HIT ME EVERYDAY N STUFF.

N NOW IM IN HONG KONG. I THOUGHT THINGS WOULD BE OKAYYY/ BETTER HERE BUT EVEN WORSE, I DUNNO. LATELY I HAVE BEEN HAGING OUT W/ ALOT OLDER GUYS, STARTED SMOKING N GETTING DRUNK N ****. N FOR SOME RELE WIERD REASONS I HAVE BEEN ARGUEING WITH MY AUNT LATELY. WE HADNT TALKED FOR LIKE 3 DAYS. N SHE CALLES ME *****/ WHORE/ N ALL THAT ****. I CANT TAKE IT ANYMORE. help. PLEASE.

TALKING THROUGH THE IDEA WITH HIS BANK MANAGER DAVID REALSIED THAT THERE WAS A SHORTAGE OF LOCAL ACCOMODATION FOR CAMPERS AND CARRAVANNERS BOTH THOUGHT IT WAS LIKELY THAT HIS IDEA WOULD BE A SUCCESS THE BANK MANAGER SUGGESTED THAT IF DAVID WANTED TO DEVELOP THE BUSINESS HE COULD OFFER FISHING ON THE NEARBY RIVER AS PART OF A HOLIDAY PACKAGE
AFTER TALKING WITH AN OFFICER IN WELHAM HE DECIDED TO GO AHEAD AND BUY THE LAND TO USE IT FOR CAMPIN AND CARAVANIN DAVIDNEEDE TO SPENT £8000

If personnel in the armed forces in any country, but especially the US and British armed forces - being as our both our nations seem to be involved everywhere - were to be trained in the foreign languages in the countries they operated in - could this not possibly change the outcome of the conflicts in those countries ?

Isn't there a chance if you were actually communicating in the same language, even if, to put it bluntly, you are only slinging insults at each other - that somewhere along the line you might find a way to do more than just fight and kill each other ?

Doesn't conflict a lot the time come from frustration because of confusion?

In essense I might know if someone is angry with me, because of their facial expression - and they're shouting at me at the top of their voice and jesticulating wildly - but wouldn't it be better to actually know WHY THEY'RE ANGRY WITH ME or for them to know why I AM ANGRY WITH THEM ?????
