Thjis movie is BRILLIANT! i found out about it from one of my friends, watched, and loved it. though I had to watch it twice before I could actually hear anything. My friend had been singing along to everything the first time I watched it with her.....

It was AWESOME!!! Especially the song Phantom of the Opera... It gives me goosebumps everytime I hear it. Specifically when you hear it on surround sound.
But nothing compares to the real live play! Fantastic! I'm glad I'm not the only one who appreciates Phantom...

Yes I love both the old and new movies - I've also seen it at the Opera House down in Boston!

I bought it on DVD and never really gave it a chance, then when it was on HBO, it must have grown on me. I have seen it 10 times now. I think it was beautifully filmed. It was refreshing to see unknown actors as well. And Minnie Driver was great even if she did not she the Diva's songs herself.
