My friend was visiting germany (he's from the us) and got arrested for fighting in a bar.he's been in jail since nov 14th. He's supposed to get out in about 2-3 weeks. Will he be put on probation when he returns?

I have a very short patience for books, but once I find one that pulls me in, I'm hooked. I'm looking for a good fantasy book to read. I really enjoyed Twilight(Stephenie Meyer), The His Dark Materials Series, and of course, The Harry Potter Series. If you have any stories that you loved and would reccomend, please let me know. OK I went to msconfig to disable my Internet explorer because I am using foxfire and it wasn't listed, but I found some things listed that were in Chinese or something that looked like it. any ways I thought I would just disable them under the start-up tab. After I did this it said to restart and when it did I had 4 different errors all in Chinese telling me that the files cant be found try retyping them in run I never tried to typed them in the first place. Unfortunately I don't type Chinese so I have a problem now event though I went back after the error happened and put everything back the way it was. Also every time I shut down I get this Monitor exe. that says end now. All of these problems are occurring all because I was trying to do something I had no business doing obviously. Can anyone help me fix this? I have windows xp home thanks

I was just wondering how active singapore schools are in preventing bullying from taking place. Anyone of you have kids in schools with an active anti-bullying policy?

I once knew of a classmate who was badly bullied in secondary school. Recently, i saw him again and he still looked really reserved and scared out. Any relevant experiences to share? Perhaps bullying really does have a life long effect on the victims.

I really want to get in to pre-med but I really need help or any good infos to help me make this decision. I am a sophomore transfer and I'm taking this chem class and I have a C in there right not--I don't know if I should drop that class because of that C. B/c I heard that if you want to get into med school, that C won't look good at all and especially it's a science course. So is dropping better or stay in it w/ a C?

bought the car from a private seller for 7000. 1000 cash and 6000 check. the story of the car was that it just got scraped. so i tried to resell it but the ppl wer saying the airbags must have deployed if the interior is different colors. so i tried to ask the owner but he started avoiding me. phone calls and emails. i checked the title certificate and it had an expired registration, but the sticker on the license had 07. hes not telling me the truth about the car. so i stopped the check for 6000. and if he doesnt respond anytime soon, can i resell it to someone else with the expired registration? in as is condition? or should i keep trying to call him for my 1000 back and return the car? it was my first time to buy a car and i feel like i got scammed for it.
