OK I went to msconfig to disable my Internet explorer because I am using foxfire and it wasn't listed, but I found some things listed that were in Chinese or something that looked like it. any ways I thought I would just disable them under the start-up tab. After I did this it said to restart and when it did I had 4 different errors all in Chinese telling me that the files cant be found try retyping them in run I never tried to typed them in the first place. Unfortunately I don't type Chinese so I have a problem now event though I went back after the error happened and put everything back the way it was. Also every time I shut down I get this Monitor exe. that says end now. All of these problems are occurring all because I was trying to do something I had no business doing obviously. Can anyone help me fix this? I have windows xp home thanks

Go back to msconfig and tell it to boot normally.

Then download Mike Lin's startup control panel, it is free and easy to use. Just uncheck the boxes for things you don't want to start. If you make a mistake, you can just check the box again, no software is deleted, it just isn't started.

it looks like u got infected by some kinds of virus...it may be auto install while u were surfing at some chinese sites? disable it in msconfig as u did and end task the file if it is running in ur process tab in task managers...do a search of the file in ur pc then delete it if u found...most of times virus hide in system32 folder or in internet temporary file folder...or the temp folder in local setting...empty ur internet temporary files...after that u have to go into the windows registry then do a search of the file name then delete the key...but make sure u do a backup of the registry before u change anything...or u can export the key u r editing...if there is something wrong after the changed u can execute the export key then it will put ur old setting back...if u r not familiar with registry u can go to http://www.computerhope.com/registry.htm

u can download ad aware http://www.lavasoftusa.com/software/adaware/ and spybot http://www.spybot.info/en/ to clean spywares in ur pc

hope it helps ;)
