Hi Asif S. I'm not sure where you get the 'more than 40% of Christians' children are born out of wedlock, but perhaps you could share that information with us. But if your asking is premarital sex OK, the answer is no. God tells us without a doubt in Hebrews 13:4:

"Marriage is Honorable in all, and the bed undefiled: but whoremongers and adulterers God will judge."

What God is teaching here is that there is to be no sexual relations before marriage. To do so would be a grievous sin to God. In today's world sex is promoted everywhere and all of the time. On TV, the internet, in the stores, this is one of the reasons that our divorce rates have skyrocketed especially in the churches and congregations.

God set up the marriage relationship to protect both spouses and their children. It was set up to help mankind go forth and multiply. It is when we follow God's Will, His rules, that He will bless our marriage.

Problem with your fact.

A Christian is someone who follows the teachings of Christ and God. Those include waiting unto marriage to have sex and children. So if you are purposefully and willingly having children outside of marriage, you are not following Christ so you can not be a Christian then.

Many people call themselves Christians for different reasons but not all are. Many say Lord Lord but Jesus have no idea who the are
