I may be totally wrong but my general view of the art has been that most puches thrown to defend comes in a stabbing motion or an arm left too long for Aikidoist to grab and cause damage! I am just wondering if an Aikido practitioner can defend against attacks from another martial artist such as Muai Tai's low sheen kicks, punches and elbows coming from different angles? I appreciate your input.

Its driving me absolutely insane. I heard it on RealRock 101.1 here in Orlando the other day and heard it again tonight. I can usually figure this stuff out FAST but this one is tricky. What song is it? It goes something along the lines of this:

I just recently asked this question and got a varied response as I thought I would. But then I got to thinking about Islam's star example here and now - the so called holy land - Saudi Arabia.
Any religion is banned except Islam. Quest workers who are not muslims are not allowed to have any religious literature with them. They are not allowed to gather and pray together even. Converts from Islam (this does happen) are probably killed. Everyone is forced to wear a viel wether mulsim or not. The list goes on....

Is this the true picture of what would happen?

Well this guy I havent been able to get over. During the summer we met and he asked me out on our first date then we went on a couple more. From the moment he met me he knew I had a child. So anyways then after like 3 weeks seeing each other we had sex, then like 2 months later he told me that we should just be friends b/c he was still in love with ex. For me not to think that he wanted to give up sex but this was his position, like we were never formal b/f and g/f and you know sucks I guess, I still havent gotten over the guy.

My sister was 8 years old when she was diagnosed with Lyme Disease and she is now 12. We have been suffering with her for 4 years now and we have been having to fly all the way to New York City to see a Lyme Specialist. She has had treatment once that's it .. but as i've read u need treatment for like 6 months. It's not that easy to fly to new york every time she needs treatment ... and there are NO damn doctors for this in Texas ... any tips on what to do ?? Or any advice from anyone who has been in this situation before ???
