What would happen to minorities if Islam ruled the world? Part B.?

I just recently asked this question and got a varied response as I thought I would. But then I got to thinking about Islam's star example here and now - the so called holy land - Saudi Arabia.
Any religion is banned except Islam. Quest workers who are not muslims are not allowed to have any religious literature with them. They are not allowed to gather and pray together even. Converts from Islam (this does happen) are probably killed. Everyone is forced to wear a viel wether mulsim or not. The list goes on....

Is this the true picture of what would happen?

Muslims consider non-Muslims infidels. The Koran says that all infidels are to be destroyed. You do the math.

First, if Islam Ruled The World there would be a major civil war, because at that point they would want a Caliph and you can bet your bottom dollar, just like in IRaq, the Sunni and Shi'ites would not agree on anything. The Sunni, I beleive, are the majority in the world and there would be major fighting if a Sunni became Caliph.

Any religion has to pay tax and they can charge whatever tax they want to.

Any person may be required to Submit or face death. The Quarn says they have a right to do that.

There would probably be a world dress code and all women would be required to cover their heads as would most if not all men. Veils would be a country to country thing. But you can be sure there would be no bikinis, no short pants, no sleeveless tops, no cleaveage allowed, no woman would be able to show her hair in public and even in private except for close family members.

All cooked food companies would be closed down in daylight hours during the month of fasting, which means to Colonel, not McDonalds.

Pork would probalby be forbidden world wide, hence no sausage, ham bacon with breakfast. No ribs, no porkcops

All bars and pubs and saloons would be closed. There would be no beer, no wine, no mixed drinks.

All court trials would be by Islamic law.

All homosexuals would be executed.

Beheading would be the only form of capital punishment.

Whippings, beatings and cainings would be allowed as punishment.

You probably could NOT own a gun, shotgun or rifle unless you were a converted muslim in Good standing.

All food would have to meet their standards.

Books, movies and television programs would have to be approved for consumption or they will not be made available anywhere except on the black market and you could be punished for possessing any contriband.

Many businesses would have to close from Friday night to Saturday night.

All wives would be required to provide husbands with sex unless they are documentablly ill.

Any woman, wife or daughter, who does not do what she is told by a man can be beaten without recourse, in fact if a woman complains to authories she could be subect to whippings or beatings by the court for failure to comply.

There would be no woman leaders, few teachers and no women in the Church leading prayers.

It is unclear what would happen in science, but Genetics would be reduced from an active to passive profession. I doubt any stem cell usage or cloning would be permitted.

We would all be on a lunar calendar and only Islamic holidays would be recognized and non-islamics might have to work on those days since they have not surrendered and someone has to do the work.

Men who are well to do would be allowed to have more than 1 wife.

Depending on country girls at the age of 5 or 6 may have to have their clitorus circumcised.

All unmarried girls over the age of consent would have to be accompanied by a male family member on all outtings with boys. This even applies to unmarried 25 year old girls in the family as it is often a crime for a girl to be alone with a man who is not a family member and the girl can be whipped or beaten for doing this.

Depending on country or region women may not be able to drive a car.

Women can generally not run businesses without court or male family member supervision.

All schools will probalby teach Islam and all Children will probably grow up as Muslims.

Non-Islamics could face some persecution from hard core Islamics, without recourse as Islamic law prevails.

Basically we are talking what goes on in China or the USSR under communsim, with a stronger dress code.

First, Saudi Arabia doesnt represent the "Model" state of Islam by any means, the real model of Islam according to muslims was the early days of Islam, the times of Prophets and for caliphates after wards, I am not saying that meaning that Islam hadnt be applied after that, I only wanted that you should not relate the mistakes of current muslims countries with the model Islamic teaching.

Moreover, historical records showed that islam offered more freedom of relgion practices than any other regimes that ever existed at the time of Islam Golden Age.

In countries that were freed by Islam from the Romans, like Egypt, Syria and Palestine, non-muslims including Chrisitans and Jews experienced superior religous rights than anywhere else. Islam allowed them to maintain and practice their religons, without forced conversion, and allowed them to maintain and their churches. Furthermore, they allowed them to thier own religous courts in which they can apply their own laws to their personal aspects of life that doesnt interefere with the State Law. Even with the Ottoman Empire- which i believe was not the most acceptable muslim empire, Greek would tell you that the Turks where better to them than their fellow Chrisitans from the Catholic Church.

On the contrary, the Chruch in Eurpoe practiced did not show any tolerance to people of different faiths. Jews were prosecuted all over europe. Inquistions were installed to force people out of their own belies into chrisitanity. As a matter of fact 6 million Arabs and Jews were forced to either be put to death leave their homes or convert to Christianty under the Inquistions in Spain.

Additionaly, Crusades proved to one of the blackest marks in the face of history. You can always read the stories of forced conversion atrocities in latin America and in countries like the Phlipines.

I hope that this would stimulate you to study history more and more, because without knowing the history, you can't underand what is happening currently

There is no difference between Islam taking over the world and Christianity ruling the world.

As far as I can see, you are persecuted unless you believe in God. I mean, 90% of our holidays revolve around the Church, our censorship laws revolve around keeping Christians happy, the laws we live by originate from Church.

There is no place in the world now for minorities. The only reason the churches let us even exist is becaust the Bible teaches tolerance and says Love thigh Neighbour, well they do tolerate us, only because we live by their laws, by their calendar and put up with their shiit!!

So forget Islam taking over, we already have fcuk all rights, it wouldn't make any difference!!!
