Hi.
I'm 14 years old with a 12 handicap and two weeks ago I hit that kind of a shot. I'm used to hitting perfect shots as I am a pretty good and consistent golfer. But the other day was the best. On the 155 yard Par-3 at my course, I hit a 6-iron. It was so perfect that it didn't kame any noise as I struck it and I didn't feel anything at all in my hands at contact. It went high and dead straight. It stopped dead, 3 feet away from the hole. I then proceeded to make the birdie putt.

Even the low handicapers don't have that perfect shot all the time. If they did they would be on the PGA tour and then again they don't do it that often. It is called hitting the screws where the ball just flies off the club perfect and long and straight. I don't get enjoyment in that I love to see a chip fall in or a shot from the fair way disappear into the hole.

Well, to answer your question and tell you what it's like. It feels great to have a good solid round of golf. Greatness is relative to your own game. I've had great rounds and shot a 76. Tiger could have a poor round and shoot 69. In order to hit "those shots" more often than not, you can't think about it. If you try to hit it in the hole it probablly won't go. Think about swinging with smooth tempo, align yourself correctly, and just swing. You can't think about your swing on the course. That's what the driving range is for. The swing on the course must be and continuation of what you taught yourself on the range. You must play shot by shot and forget about the round of golf that you play until after the final putt on 18.

That is of course a great feeling, the smooth swing, solid contact, great trajectory leaving you with a birdie shot.
However if you think about it, a great round doesnt happen because of the good shots, it happens because you make comebacks from bad shots.
Contrary to popular belief, golf is a contact sport ( make poor contact and you play poorly ) good contact results in a much better game.
No matter how the contact or the shot whats important is how you play the game, stay cool , enjoy and have fun.

The easiest way to learn golf like a pro is by following "The Simple Golf Swing" program. It's primarily a 31 page eBook that teaches golfers how to make solid contact with the ball, how to avoid hitting fat, how to avoid slicing, how get more power, accuracy, and consistency in your swing. Consistency being the number 1 golf skill.
You not only get the eBook though, you also receive a ton of extra material including video, lessons on putting, driving, chipping, sand play etc. Here is their official site: http://www.golfswingguru.net

I enjoy the game of golf. To be a good ball striker you obviously need the good swing plane. Get a video of Ben Hogan's technique. It's all about swing plane and quite simple. You will definitely improve your drive off the tee.
Once you begin to play more and establish a consistently good swing plane then buy a set of clubs from a pro who will also analyze your swing to adjust the clubs accordingly.
My clubs are adjusted to +5 and I have a handicap of 12 from the championship tees. The difference I noticed from the get-go was the path of the club head striking the ground. It was parallel to the surface and that's exactly what you want to hit that sweet spot more consistently.

properly in straight forward words 2 issues in golfing detemine the position your ball is going to bypass. i recognize there are alot of variables that come into play, yet all of it comes all the way down to swing direction and perspective of the face at effect. in the journey that your hooking the ball its because the club face is closed at effect its that straight forward.
