Ive spoken to people of many different Christian sects and Ive spoken with many Priests and Preachers. The Clergy have said that the bible is to not be taken literally and yet the masses believe it all to be true. Why?

The child is 1 and she sleeps from 5:30 pm to 6:30 am. That's great and everything but my husband seems to think we can do something similar with our son who is 3. I try to tell him there is an age difference and also every child is different. He laready gets 12 hours ina 24 hour period, that's all he needs. How many hours does your 3 yr old get?

I can't even get to the doctor because it's causing me so much anxiety even thinking about going alone.( I am 23)I have thought about asking my Mom, but all she is going to do is throw it in my face that I shouldn't have done this to myself.This isn't the 1st time. It's almost like I am self destructive. What do I do? I can't stop freaking out because I feel like I am headed to rock bottom and nobody is there to catch me.How do I handle this? Please don't be rude because I am truly on edge here.

I was diagnosed with clinical depression and OCD about five years ago. I've gone through periods using SSRIs and periods without. I am currently switching from taking Effexor XR to Wellbutrin XL. The Effexor made me fatigued all the time, caused me to gain and hold onto weight---so I needed to switch. I'm curious to know people's reactions to Wellbutrin, especialy regarding their weight, and if anyone has noticed a difference between Wellbutrin XL and Wellbutrin SR. Thanks!

during some phases of your life you get a lot of attention and seem to be very successful in attracting the opposite sex, and then equally, during other phases, you go through whole periods with nearly no attention whatsoever!
I am a guy and when I was in a serious rel with a girl, I had no end of attention and flirtations with random girls (of which I never ever persued), and now that I am single again, I find it very hard to get noticed and be approached!
Why is it when you are after something, it just seems like it's just not there!
Damn!

Hello, my name is Stephen, and I'm a 14-year-old transgender. I have some questions regarding hormones. I'd like to start taking anti-androgens to hold off puberty until I can start taking estrogen. What are the steps that I must take to do this? Do I have to see a therapist, or can I get the anti-androgens first, and see a therapist for the estrogen? I live in PA, if any of you could recommend a place near here.

The first time she bragged to me that she gave her 7 month old Nyquil to make him sleep deeply so she could go out to party and not have to get a babysitter, just leave him with his 9 yo sister.

The second time I overheard her yelling at her 13 yo daughter for flirting with the mom's boyfriend (he's in his 50s). She yelled that the daughter wasn't going to mess up her relationship.

I also know that the mother is on drugs and prostitutes in the house when her boyfriend is at work

I find it hard to mind my own business when I know that 3 kids are being abused physically, sexually and otherwise. I have kids of my own and would want someone to be concerned if they were in that situation.

Both times, DHS said it was hearsay and did nothing.

The neighbors all look the other way and say I should do the same.

My daughter was bitten in art class and was told by her assaulant not to tell because no one would believe her. The biter left her upper and lower impressions and the scare remains. The school and church sided with the biters parents and went on to issue them a letter of support, in which lies and confidential imformation was shared about my family. We managed to get a judgment for medical expenses from the bitters parents. However, the school and church sided and announced in this correspondance that my daughter would not be attending school this year based on our financial hardship, and advised the bitters parents not to seek resolution because the incidnet never took place. Do I have recourse as far as recovering registration cost and slanderous remarks made against my family. Does a private school have responsibility to file an incident report or expel my daughters attacker, under the Ohio Revised Code? Can anything be done to make the school or principal responsible?

I have a male friend and we're getting REALLY close. We're on the verge of dating. He's never had group sex and would like to try just to see what it is like. He says that he wants to do it with these 2 certain male friends because with them I'll get pleased and since it's no strings attached, I won't have to worry about anything later on down the line.
