I have a Sony VAIO FS790P and would like to video out to the TV. It looks like the only two options are a 15 pin monitor port and this S400 port. Any suggestions?

It is the i.LINK port. (IEEE 1394) for connecting stuff like a digital video camera, or even to hook up to another computer for file transfer.

The only video connection you have standard is the VGA port.

You could get a scan-convertor to translate VGA into a composite video signal for a TV.
