Hang in there! I'm 13 and feeling tired as well. It should stop anytime now...some women get lucky and in the 2nd trimester their "tiredness" eases- just hang in there..its normal, at least you know your bodys working hard!

Usually late 16th week you'll notice you're getting your energy back. The 16-31 week time is the honeymoon period. Most women are tired until 16 weeks and then get tired, back pain, etc around 32 weeks. Enjoy the time you have now, because you'll definately be tired after the birth.

i think it should be this way the whole time. if you are really tired try taking a walk in the morning to get your blood flowing thats what i do. it helps. also eat a fruit salad or some kind of fruit in the morning it has natural sugar in it that should help to give you at least a little pep. good luck and take a nap when you can theres nothing wrong with napping when you are pregnant.

Skip caffeine it makes for "highs and Lows" though the day. Also eat high protein snacks when you hit a low peak. Like peanut butter crackers or peanuts, but careful peanuts are high in fats. And I know i got tired of hearing this but, drink more water. It really does help! Also, sometimes it's caused by a sudden drop or rise in blood presser. so rest on your left side for a few minutes.
