I tried scrunching my hair today. I used regular gel and curling mousse and hairspray. I let it dry. It's really curly and cute, but the top of it is flat and frizzy. The back it also frizzy.
what am I doing wrong? any tips?

i have heard that their is an company which makes some screen savers which are used to calculate some things. users who want to give their computer for calculations, download the screen saver and run that. they are paid for how much they run screen saver.

I need someone with some medical experience to help me here. Or anyone with knowledge to this. Wednesday afternoon my chest starting itching then my arms then my back neck legs everything. There is no visual rash on my body except when I scratch too much in certain places and it gets red and looks like a rash. I am not allergic to any foods (that I know of) and I do suffer from regular seasonal allergies here it is Saturday and I can not stop itching. I've been taking benadryl since Wed night with no help I went to the doc yesterday and he prescribed me methlyprednisolone which is for allergies and I started taking it today. I tried backtracking everything I've eaten and did and Sunday night I went to Universal and stayed in a hotel(maybe bed bugs?) I ate shrimp(notallergic) and I've been eating regular food like always. I have seen 2 big red fire ants in my home but I don't really have bumps on me just a few tiny ones on my body. Someone please help me! I can't stop itching!

How can I convert a video file to high-definition, using my computer? If I copy it from the source, a dvd, how can I copy it to a high-quality file format?

I used a program called Xilisoft DVD to iPod converter. It copied the video to mp4 format, and it is not good quality. When I play the video from the disk drive on my computer, I get much better quality.

How can I get this good quality, only saved on my computer so I don't have to use the dvd to see the video?

I have never claimed, nor would I, that the media is liberal or conservative. In some cases there might be a bias presented, perhaps often, but I shall not paint a broad stroke over it. With that disclaimer out of the way, why exactly do people think ownership proves bias? Do people really believe it is impossible for the product to not reflect its owners ideology? The ownership argument makes no sense to me. It looks like people are using associations as proof, and exaggerating their quality as evidence.

Am I the only one that thinks the ownership argument is weak and highly flawed?

Ok, please don't be hating! I was just curious, though, as to how many Protestants on here actually know that Jehovah cannot even be written or said in ancient Hebrew, the language from which your oldest scriptures originate. The name Jehovah is a mistansliteration of Yahweh, the tetragrammaton which means something along the lines of, "I am." I'm a little bit more understanding of why so many Christians use the name Jesus for a man who was ~probably~ called something else, but do so many of you really not know the name of your own God? Or do you think that he didn't try to teach Moses the proper pronunciation, and that's why it had to be changed later on?

So, thoughts on this? It is a respectful question which has bothered me for some time.

Last year I had surgery, & was thankful when she brought a meal for family (from my church).She says God asked her to take care of our family. I told her I'm well & would like to be friends,do girl stuff, shop, etc. She doesn't want to, she wants to clean my house, cook for us, DH is disabled, has many hospital stays. Ive dealt for over 5 years, but now she calls 2-3 times a day to HELP. If I don't answer, she calls the hospital & tells him I won't answer. She had me type a book, & paid me very well to do this, now calls constantly wanting to take me out to lunch She decided to teach her kids about giving by being a Santa to our family this year, we asked her not to, because due to DH's disability we had to have help several years, & now we don't HAVE to. We asked her to donate to church instead, but she refuses. She cleans house & brings me all the discards, she thinks I can "use" them. It's even included her old underwear! DH dont want to hurt her feelings, how do I deal with it?

Mav wonders, why is it that many of the most 'Christ-like' people here aren't Christian? That really is a sad thing to consider.

The anonymity of Y!A is not an excuse to lose oujr Jesus for awhile, it is a chance for us to SHOW our Jesus in secret.

I'll keep this as short as possible: We meet, hit it off real big. Things go great for a few months. She starts to go distant. Hot and cold for a while. We talk. She says she is always like this. OK, I have heard the, "It's not you, it's me" thing, you know what I assume. But things stay hot and cold. We start getting closer, she starts to push away. Up and down, like a yo yo. I start to push a little, figured it's only a matter of time that the "truth" comes out. We keep talking, she keeps saying the same thing though. I let up some, but the back and forth drives me nuts, just totally plays on every insecurity I ever had, and I back off some, push some. WTF? Finally occurs to me that she really meant what she said, something big and bad in her past. But now I've pushed her further away (not gone, but on a "break"). If I explained this to you, what would you say? I mean, what should I have thought? I have to look out for me, and who hasn't heard that line before?
