I like it, she will probably be sterotyped having a boyish name though. But look at some other Stevie's, like Stevie Nicks and Stevie Wonder (even though Wonder is a man) they are both talented musicians.
My oldest daughter has a predominantly male name as well, and she seems to be a bit tomboyish....but she would be the same even if her name was more "girly".

My friend's name is Stevie and she's 22 years old. I really like this name and it is her full first name. She's never had any problems with it and no one makes fun of her.

Yeah I do. It's different. My goddaughter's best friend is a little girl named Stevie. They are about 8.
Also there is a female singer named Stevie Nicks.

Her full name is probably Stephanie.
Having Stevie as her name for now sounds fine, maybe once she grows out of the tom boy phase she'll go by Stephanie.
