Looking for a small town in Oregon that gets some snow?

Would like to relocate to the area, but I like living in smaller towns, and I want a place that has some snow.

Look for almost any town that's in the Cascade mountains. Some of my favorites are Sisters (small, but growing rapidly with 100 people), Ashland (college and artsy town close to the California border with 20,000 people) and Glide (population 1700) and McKenzie Bridge (population less than 200).

Oregon is a wonderful state and there are lots of small towns/very small towns that get snow in the winter. it all depends on the 'extras' you like to determine which one is the one for you.

Me, I'm a coastal fan. Love the small towns on the Oregon coast and in the Coastal range!

I personally love Bend, but it's becoming bigger and bigger! You might try looking at Sisters, which would be near Bend and is just lovely. Definitely has the look and feel of an old West town!

Someone else suggested McKenzie Bridge. I second that, along with Blue River. They are far up enough in elevation to get snow, but not too far of a drive from the Eugene/Springfield area so that you have a place for major shopping.
